The Belle Fourche Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time police officer. The department offers room for advancement, training and a great benefit package.
Belle Fourche is a community comprised of approximately 5,500 residents on the edge of the northern Black Hills.
Requirements: Passing score on written exam, interview, background investigation/interview, valid driver's license, and a state recognized law enforcement certification or ability to obtain the certification or ability to obtain the certification within one year of hire.
Wage: Depends on experience and certification
- Be a U.S. Citizen;
- high school diploma or GED Equivalent;
- 21 years of age at the time of hire;
- no felony or domestic violence convictions
